The method involves using a load grasping device (1) divided into two connected sections (2,3). The first section is attached to the lifting apparatus side, and the second section is attached to the load side. The two sections are moved relative to each other, as required, so that the second section (3) continuously maintains the correct relative position with respect to the load (21) when grasping and setting down the load. An independent claim is included for a load grasping apparatus.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren sowie eine Vorrichtung zum Positionieren von Hebegut (21), insbesondere von plattenförmigen Hebegütern unter Verwendung von Hebe- (25) und Lastaufnahmevorrichtungen (1). Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an der Hebevorrichtung (25) eine in zwei miteinander verbundene Abschnitte (2,3) unterteilte Lastaufnahmevorrichtung (1) verwendet wird, wobei ein erster Abschnitt (2) hebevorrichtungsseitig befestigt wird und ein zweiter Abschnitt (3) hebegutseitig befestigt wird, und beide Abschnitte je nach Bedarf relativ zueinander bewegt werden, so daß der zweite Abschnitt (3) sowohl bei der Aufnahme als auch beim Ablegen des Hebegutes (21) kontinuierlich eine korrekte Relativlage zum Hebegut (21) einhält.
