Abstract (en)
The method involves connecting a crane (46) to a semitrailer through separate lifting accessories. The semitrailer is struck by a hoisting cross beam (1) and two wheel gripper units (13). The cross beam is connected with a fifth wheel king pin of the semitrailer or support winches at the front area of the semitrailer. One of the gripper units is connected with a wheel that is arranged at left and right of an articulated lorry (45). An independent claim is also included for a handling system for executing a method of handling a semitrailer.
