Ein Pfosten-Riegel-System umfasst eine Tragkonstruktion, die aus Pfosten (1) und Riegeln (4) besteht. Um eine geringe Ansichtsbreite zu erhalten, werden Druckleisten (2, 32) durch besonders dünne Befestigungselemente (3, 5) mit der Tragkonstruktion (1, 4) verbunden. Zur Aufnahme der Gewichtskräfte der Platten (G) dienen Auflager (8), die an den Riegeln (4) angebracht sind.
