The flat radiator includes at least one heating plate with a lower horizontal channel and several vertical channels (18) filled with liquid that can be heated up using at least one electric heating element. The electric heating element is arranged along the lower horizontal channel. A housing is provided for the electric heating element along the lower horizontal channel. The housing is in fluid connection with the lower horizontal channel via several through openings or a slit.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Plattenheizkörper mit mindestens einer Heizplatte, welche einen unteren Horizontalkanal und mehrere Vertikalkanäle aufweist, welche mit einer Flüssigkeit gefüllt sind, welche mittels mindestens eines Elektroheizelementes aufheizbar ist, welches entlang des unteren Horizontalkanales angeordnet ist. Erfindungsgemäß ist entlang des unteren Horizontalkanales für das Elektroheizelement ein Aufnahmegehäuse angebracht ist, welches über eine Vielzahl von Durchgangsöffnungen oder einen Schlitz mit dem unteren Horizontalkanal in Fluidverbindung steht. <IMAGE>
