Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2850012A1] Cosmetic article for reducing rings under the eyes comprises two symmetrical pouches (4) at either end of a conformable nasal bridge (5), and loops (2) for attaching the article to the ears. The pouches are designed to cover the lower eyelids and are delimited by a flexible water-permeable envelope (3) and contain an water-swollen absorbent polymer that produces a cooling effect by desorption and vaporization of water. An Independent claim is also included for a method for using the above article, which is sold in flat form with dry polymer particles (13) in the pouches, comprising contacting the article with water to swell the polymer, optionally cooling the article for a few minutes, attaching the loops to the ears, positioning the pouches over the lower lids, and keeping the article in place until the cold feeling has gone.
