[origin: DE10301124A1] Universal measurement system for adapting or contacting of semiconductor components of different package type to allow operation or measurement of the same. The pins or contact pads of the packages are connected to the input side of a specially matched socket (3) that has output pins that correspond to the locations of the input side pins. The socket is then connected to a standard PGA socket (15) by means of a socket adapter (8).
