[origin: EP1584385A1] A guide roller (47) and a guide pin (50) are linked with a workpiece support included in a retaining device and positioned on the same side of a workpiece as the guide roller and guide pin. The retaining device, guide roller and guide pin can be moved relative to a swivel lever (23) and a corresponding cam gate (46) in the direction (8) of a bending stroke. An independent claim is also included for a bending machine.
