[origin: EP1584592A1] The crossfold folding blade (26) is adjustable in the crossfold feed direction (KB). A sheet support device (12) is used to support a sheet (30) supplied in the crossfold feed direction in a transport plane (TE). The leading edge of a sheet fed into the module will come to rest against an end stop device which is adjustable in the crossfold feed direction. A crossfolding folding blade (26) located above the sheet support device and extending in the crossfold feed direction can be moved up and down. A pair of folding rolls located beneath the sheet support device and opposite the crossfolding folding blade defines a nip for receiving a sheet to be folded by this blade. An independent claim is also included for a folding machine with the crossfold module (10).
