Abstract (en)
The headlight has a cover (C1) situated near a focus (A2) of a reflector (R), and oriented transversal to an optical axis of the headlight with a horizontal upper edge. A cover (C2) is parallel to the cover (C1) but moved along the axis to be near to an optical unit (D) e.g. plano-convex lens (L). The covers are integrated to form a single piece assembly with V or U shaped transversal section whose two arms correspond to the two covers.

L'invention a pour objet un projecteur lumineux pour véhicule automobile comprenant un réflecteur de type ellipsoïde (R) ; une source lumineuse (S) placée à un premier foyer (A1) du réflecteur ; un moyen optique convergent (D) dont le foyer objet est situé au voisinage du second foyer (A2) du réflecteur ; un premier cache (C1) situé au voisinage du deuxième foyer du réflecteur, et orienté transversalement à l'axe optique du projecteur avec un bord supérieur sensiblement horizontal ; et un deuxième cache (C2) sensiblement parallèle au premier cache mais décalé suivant l'axe optique pour se trouver plus proche du moyen optique. Le deuxième cache (C2) est solidaire du premier (C1) pour former un ensemble d'une seule pièce à section transversale sensiblement en V ou en U dont les deux branches correspondent aux deux caches. <IMAGE>
