[origin: WO2004067223A1] The invention relates to a double-spindle machine-tool comprising a frame-type stand (1) provided with an x carriage (10) that can be displaced in an x direction and a y carriage (15) that can be displaced in a y direction on the x carriage (10). Two tool spindles (20, 21) which cannot be displaced in a z direction and are used to receive tools (26) for machining workpieces (41, 42) located in a working area (7) are arranged on the y carriage (15).
