Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2004065674A1] The invention relates to a device and method for texturing synthetic mixed threads. To this end, the mixed threads are parallelly formed from a number of partial threads. The partial threads are drawn off and drafted by a drawing-off means, whereby a guiding means is assigned to the drawing means and serves to guide the partial threads to the mixed threads. The mixed threads are separately textured by a texturing means. In order to obtain a bringing together of the partial threads that is as identical as possible for each of the mixed threads, the partial threads are divided into groups and, independent of one another, are laid in a to-and-fro manner by a number of traversing thread guides assigned to the partial threads. The groups of partial threads are guided independent of one another when being laid, and one of the partial threads per group of partial threads is assigned to the mixed threads at a time. To this end, the guiding means is formed by a number of groups of traversing thread guides that can be driven independent of one another in an oscillatory manner.
