Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2004042201A1] The invention relates to an array for controllable power supply of electrovalves of an electrohydraulic valve control of an internal combustion engine, wherein the actuator of the charge cycle has electrovalves assigned thereto. A two-stage power supply for the electrovalves is provided, namely the supply with a breakaway starting voltage provided by a breakaway starting voltage source and the supply with a withstand voltage provided by a withstand voltage source. The breakaway starting voltage is greater than the withstand voltage. The electrovalves are operated independently of one another during the breakaway starting current period with a corresponding breakaway starting current as a result of the breakaway starting voltage being applied and during a withstand current period with a corresponding withstand current as a result of the withstand voltage being applied. Each electrovalve is provided with a withstand voltage line and a breakaway starting voltage line, which connect the electrovalve to the withstand voltage source or the breakaway starting voltage source. A grounding line connects each electrovalve to the ground, wherein a ground disconnector is arranged in each grounding line for switchable disconnection of the electrical connection between the electrovalve and the ground.
