[origin: EP1586262A1] The cleaning appliance (1) consists of a steam generator (2) and a handle (3) connected to a cleaning head (4) that has a sole plate covered with a cloth (6) and set adjacent and parallel to a steam dispenser (7), with a tube (8) feeding the steam from the generator to the dispenser. The handle is connected to the cleaning head by a universal joint (9), and the steam feed tube (8) is separate from the handle.
