Production of gas or stream turbine components (30), especially a housing or valve, comprises casting the component from a graded material and forming a site of high resistance in a region (34) in which high loads are produced. Um eine beanspruchungsresistente Komponente (28) einer Gas- oder Dieselturbine (12) zu schaffen, ist die Komponente (30) aus einem gradierten Werkstoff gegossen, bei dem in dem Bereich (34) mindestens eine Stelle erhöhter Resistenz ausgebildet ist, oder eine beanspruchungsresistente Komponente (32) ist aus einem vergleichsweise geringwertigem Werkstoff gegossen, in den mindestens ein Körper (40) aus einem Material vergleichsweise hoher Resistenz in dem Bereich (34) eingegossen ist. <IMAGE>
