Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1586727A1] The mechanism has a pivoting locking unit (4) mounted on a base (3). The unit pivots between a locking position and an unlocking position of a handle (2), where the unit engages and disengages with an activating arm (16) or a transmission assembly (6), respectively. A helical spring (5) maintains the locking unit in the locking position. A knob (12) controls pivoting of the locking unit towards its unlocking position.
