[origin: EP1586816A2] The ceiling light comprises a light housing in which the appliances are kept and on which one or more light holders are fitted. The light is assembled using a ceiling rail fitted on the background surface and attachable to the lighting housing. The ceiling rail has at least one guide bolt which after the rail has been assembled surface projects from the background surface and is fitted with two notch supports. The light housing has a first notched part which is sprung into position on the first notch support and a second notched part which forms a positive locking connection with the second notched support.
