The trigger device has a thermal bimetallic actuator and a bimetallic fixing point. The bimetallic element is U-shaped and the bend of the U is perpendicular to the plane through the two legs of the U shape. Independent claims also cover an installation switch device with such a trigger.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine thermische Auslöseeinrichtung für ein Installationsschaltgerät, mit einem Bimetall-Aktor, umfassend ein U-förmiges Thermo-Bimetall (18), dessen beide Schenkel (22, 26) eine Bimetall-Ebene festlegen, und mit einer Bimetall-Fixierungsstelle (13). Das freie Ende (23) eines ersten Bimetall-Schenkels (22) ist an der Bimetall-Fixierungsstelle (13) elektrisch leitend mit einem Bimetall-Träger (14) verbunden, und das freie Ende (27) des anderen Bimetall-Schenkels (26) ist mit dem Bimetall-Träger (14) durch ein isolierendes Klemmteil (34) verbunden, derart, dass das freie Ende (27) des anderen Bimetall-Schenkels (26) bezogen auf die Bewegungsrichtung senkrecht zur Bimetall-Ebene fest an die Fixierungsstelle (13) gekoppelt ist. <IMAGE>
