Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004067862A1] The invention relates to a dispensing device for dispensing an active substance fluid into the flushing liquid in a toilet bowl. Preferably, the dispensing device respectively comprises two reservoirs for an active substance fluid. A connecting piece (8) of a line arrangement (7), on which a reservoir (2) is attached, is arranged below on the side which is orientated towards the impinging flushing liquid when a dispensing device is suspended in the toilet bowl, and is connected to the distribution element (6) by part of the periphery thereof. Screening is thus for a lateral outlet (11) for the active substance fluid (11), formed between the distribution element (6) and the lower edge (10) of the connecting piece (8). The dimensions thereof are selected by taking into account the product properties of the active substance fluid such that when in an idle state, i.e. without essential action of the flushing liquid, the active substance fluid appears in the lateral outlet (11). Preferably, the outlet point is additionally screened by means of an impact wall (15).
