[origin: WO2004063492A1] Parquet board arranged for mechanical joint locking to corresponding parquet boards, for example, for a floor covering. The joint locking is achieved by one of the boards being provided with a groove (11) and the other with a tongue (12) at the meeting edges (14, 15) of the boards (1, 2), which tongue can be inserted into the groove. A locking arrangement in the form of a recess (32) in the groove and a projection (48) on the tongue achieves the locking by snapping together. A method for manufacturing the boards by chipping is described.
