[origin: WO2005064159A1] The invention relates to an axial piston machine comprising a swash plate (12) and a positioning piston (18) which is in contact with the swash plate (12) by means of a crosshead (31) which is at least partially received by the swash plate (12) or the positioning piston (18). The crosshead (31) can be inclined in a direction in relation to the swash plate (12) and/or the positioning piston (18) and can be inserted through an opening in a recess (80) formed in the swash plate (12) and/or the positioning piston (18). The crosshead (31) is fixed to the recess by fixing areas (83) embodied in said recess (80). An elastic element (86, 91) is provided in the swash plate (12) and/or the positioning piston (18), said elastic element impinging upon the crosshead (31) with a force which is directed in the direction towards the areas (83) which fix the crosshead (31).
