Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1413211A1] The process involves transferring a connecting sheet (3) to a cigarette/tip group (9) that is fed to a grooved drum (6). The cigarette/tip group is rolled to wrap a glued connecting sheet around the cigarette/tip group about their longitudinal axes. The connecting sheets positioned within a defined spacing are fed by rotating a roller (2) and the grooved drum. An Independent claim is also included for a device for connecting smoking article components.
