Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1588640A1] The device has a thumbwheel (4) rotated to adjust length of a strap and a cable (3) connecting two parts (1, 2) of the strap. An adjustment pulley (5) is integrated with the thumbwheel to which one of ends of the cable is fixed and around which the cable is rolled. The pulley has flanges cooperating with notches arranged on an upper part (6) of a body to insert the flanges in the part for locking the pulley in an adjustment position. An independent claim is also included for a wristwatch strap having a length adjustment device.
