Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1588942A1] The throttle has a guiding path (5) and a guiding path (6) that permits a control lever (2) to take one of different positions, where each position controls a particular drive speed of an aircraft engine. The path (6) has several detents (7) susceptible to receive guiding units (3). An auxiliary guiding path (8) allows the lever to be displaced continuously to control the engine speed in a continuous manner. The guiding path (5) permits the lever (2) to be displaced in a continuous manner to control continuously the speed by inversion of thrust. An independent claim is also included for an aircraft with a throttle.
