Abstract (en)
The method for the position monitoring of a sheet (36) transported in a folding machine entails determining by a sensing device (32,34,36) the positions of a sheet edge (39) extending in the transporting direction (TR) and transmitting the measured values to a processor unit which calculates a measurement curve on the basis of the recorded value and path of the sheet through the sensing point. The measurement curve is compared with a reference curve and an error signal is sent out by the processor unit if there is any deviation between the curves.

Bei dem Verfahren zur Lagekontrolle eines in einer Falzmaschine transportierten Bogens (36, 38, 48), werden während des Transports des Bogens (36, 38, 48) an einem Erfassungsort durch eine Erfassungseinrichtung (32, 34, 46) die Positionen einer im Wesentlichen in Transportrichtung (TR) verlaufenden Bogenkante (37, 39, 49) erfasst. Von der Erfassungseinrichtung (32, 34, 46) werden dann den erfassten Positionen entsprechende Messwerte an eine Prozessoreinrichtung weitergegeben. Die Prozessoreinrichtung errechnet auf der Basis der erfassten Messwerte und dem Weg des Bogens (36, 38, 48) durch den Erfassungsort eine Messkurve (MK1, MK2, MK3) und vergleicht diese mit einer vorherbestimmten Referenzkurve (RK). Die Prozessoreinrichtung gibt ein Fehlersignal aus, wenn die Messkurve (MK1, MK2, MK3) von der Referenzkurve (RK) abweicht. <IMAGE>
