[origin: EP1588967A2] The device on a feed table (1), for the transporting of sheet-form material from a sheet feeder to especially a printing press, has a number of conveyor belts (2) driven endless around the feed table. A number of aerating holes (6) in the form of nozzles distributed over the whole surface of the guide section (5) of the feed table are provided on the outer side of the conveyor belts, and a blast air feed is provided in such a way that it is connected at least partially to the aerating holes so that the guide sections are charged with blast air over part of or all of the surface. An independent claim is included for a method for the feed of sheets on a feed table, preferably a suction belt table, from a sheet feeder to a sheet processing machine.
