Abstract (en)
The carding machine for making at least one fibre web (V1, V2) consists of a carding drum (1), doffing cylinders (2), condensing rollers (3), lifting cylinders (4) and transporting surfaces (6), with the lifting cylinders rotating at a speed of at least 130 m/min, and preferably 150 m/min or more. Between each lifting cylinder and transporting surface there is a rotary suction transfer roller (5) designed to transfer the fibre web between the two while holding it in place by suction. In a variant of the design each of the cylindrical transfer rollers can be replaced by a belt.

La carde pour la formation d'au moins un voile de fibres (V1 ou V2) comporte un cylindre détacheur (4) qui a pour fonction de prélever, sur sa périphérie et avec un point de rebroussement (P) vers le haut, le voile de fibres préalablement formé, et une surface de transport (6) du voile de fibres positionnée en aval du cylindre détacheur (4). Entre le cylindre détacheur (4) et la surface de transport (6) est interposé un organe de transfert rotatif aspirant (5) qui a pour fonction de transférer le voile de fibres entre le cylindre détacheur (4) et la surface de transport (6) en maintenant par aspiration le voile de fibres. <IMAGE>
