[origin: EP1589175A2] Automatically triggered self-locking device for a sliding door decouples the door from a self-closing unit when the self-closing unit is in the retained state. Preferred Features: A retaining unit having a magnetic anchor (8), especially a telescopic anchor, is provided and is retained against the closing force by a fixed electromagnet. A damping unit (10) dampens the movement of the self-closing unit in the closing direction.
