[origin: EP1591368A2] The packaged insulation boards (2), of mineral fibers and especially rock wool, are stacked in two overlaid layers and are wrapped in a protective film (8). For transport, the wrapped boards are laid on support bodies (12) by their narrow sides, at right angles to the longitudinal line of the boards. The supports are tied (14) to the wrapped board packages.
