Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1591612A1] The actuator has a permanent phase terminal (P0) and a terminal (N0) to connect the actuator to a voltage source, an electric motor and a control unit (MCU). The control unit has a voltage converter with an output that supplies a microcontroller (CPU) controlling switching unit (RLU). The unit (MCU) has a power cut-off time control unit (TCU) to control the cut-off time during which the actuator is not connected to the source. An independent claim is also included for a method for estimating a period during which an actuator is not supplied.
