Abstract (en)
An RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) element (10) is mounted on a protected piece of goods, e.g. a wristwatch (1). It may be in communication with an RFID reader (2) on a mobile telephone with a SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card (3). The video display on the mobile telephone can give the relevant patent details (30). The mobile telephone is in communication with a first server (5) via a radio network (4). The server can send query signals (50,51) to further servers (6,7) with data banks containing patent details (71). Answer signals (60,70) are returned to the first server.

Verfahren, um einen Hinweis (30) auf Schutzrechte, mit welchen ein Produkt geschützt ist, an einem Produkt anzubringen, mit folgenden Verfahrenschritten: Ein RFID-Element wird mit dem Produkt verbunden, wobei das RFID-Element Daten enthält, anhand welchen mindestens ein Schutzrechtshinweis ermittelt werden kann. Der Schutzrechtshinweis wird vorzugsweise aus einem Fernserver (7) über ein Telekommunikationsnetz ferngeladen. <IMAGE>
