[origin: WO2004070194A1] Disclosed is a fuel injection device comprising at least one magnetically operated valve (56, 60) which controls fuel injection, is disposed within a housing part (36), and is provided with a magnetic subassembly (62) encompassing a magnetic coil (63) and an armature (64) that is inserted into a recess (61) of the housing part (36). The magnetic subassembly (62) is fixed inside the housing part (36) by means of a lid part (16) that can be joined to the housing part (36). A spring element (70), with the aid of which the magnetic subassembly (62) is braced inside the housing part (36), is arranged between the lid part (16) and the magnetic subassembly (62). At least one holding element (72, 74), by means of which the spring element (70) is supported on the housing part (36) and the magnetic subassembly (62) is retained within the recess (61) of the housing part (36) without the lid part (16) being joined to the housing part (36), is fitted onto the spring element (70) as a single piece.
