The assembly (10) for the preparation of the printing plate (11) for flexographic printing, by gravure, has a powered and rotating cylinder unit (12) which holds the printing plate around it by an underpressure. As the cylinder rotates, the printing matter is imposed on the plate by a gravure unit (13) around its circumference and along its axis. The printing plate is held in place by an underpressure within grooves around the cylinder circumference.

Es wird eine Vorrichtung (10) zum Bearbeiten, insbesondere zur Gravur, von plattenförmigen Druckvorlagen (11) für den Flexodruck, vorgeschlagen, umfassend ein rotierend antreibbares Zylinderelement (12), auf das die Druckvorlage (11) zur Bearbeitung durch Unterdruck haltend aufgebracht wird, wobei wenigstens ein Bearbeitungsorgan (13) die Druckvorlage (11) während der Rotation des Zylinderelementes (12) entlang des Umfanges (14) und längs seiner Achse (5) bearbeitet. Dabei wird im wesentlichen ausschließlich der Bereich (16) des Zylinderelementes (12), der von der plattenförmigen Druckvorlage (11) bedeckt ist, durch Unterdruck beaufschlagt. <IMAGE>
