[origin: EP1593496A2] The method involves preparing a print form (10) with a reusable surface (11) whereby at least some sections of the overall surface (11) can be cancelled out and re-configured. A relative movement between corresponding devices and the print form is established over the entire axial longitudinal direction so that the obliteration and re-configuration is carried out at those sections of the surface which actually lie within the operating range of the relevant device. Independent claim describes device with an obliteration device (13) and re-configuration device (14) arranged to process certain sections over the entire surface.
