The wetting mechanism includes a sensor for detecting the amount of wetting agent applied. The sensor regulates the amount supplied to the printing mould (1) by comparing the amount supplied with a predeterminable amount. Several sensors (2) are preferably spread out over the width of the printing mould. A spray damping mechanism with at least one wetting driver roller and wetting applicator roller control the spray frequency and/or speed of the rollers.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Feuchtwerk für eine Druckmaschine mit Mitteln zum Auftragen eines Feuchtmittels auf eine Druckform und Mitteln zum Einstellen der Feuchtmittelmenge, wobei mindestens ein Sensor zur Erfassung der aufgetragenen Feuchtmittelmenge vorgesehen ist und über einen Vergleich mit einer vorgebbaren Feuchtmittelmenge, diese vorgegebene Feuchtmittelmenge auf der Druckform einregelbar ist. <IMAGE>
