Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1593525A1] The points control (1) has a supervisory control circuit with attached points drive (2) to oversee the points' position. The circuit has a first current limiter (121) with first current threshold and second current limiter (122) with second higher current threshold. The current limiters are set up so that when the points drive is locked on a fault-free state, the first and second limiters are switched over the drive in series, and only the first limiter reports a current flow and so that in the pushed up state when the points position does not correspond to its fixed nominal position, only the second limiter reports a current flow.
