Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1593539A1] The storage unit can be an oil sump (1) of a vehicle containing an appropriate amount of oil (2, 5) moving in relation to the motion of the vehicle. In particular when driving across an uneven surface or around a sharp bend the oil (2, 5) is moved out of reach of the suction tube. The new design of a suction unit (6) is assembled of a soft, flexible tube (8) exceeding from the pump (7) and provided with a float (12) at is outer end (9), following every movement of the fluid (2, 5).
