[origin: EP1593628A2] The machine for feeding and simultaneously adjusting sheets of paper (1) has a straight edge (50) which acts as an orientating guide and a conveyor belt (40) which is at an angle to it. The belt has transverse slots (23) which are connected to a suction system. This is fitted with a throttle valve (31) and by-pass valve operated by a control unit (33).
