[origin: EP1593776A1] The web drying section of a papermaking machine, or cardboard or tissue production, has at least one suction roller (1) where the web (2) passes around it from above on one side and upwards on the other side from the bottom of the roller. A beating flow dryer (6) is aligned at the suction roller, at the lower quadrant of the exit side. Web guide rollers (3,4) are over the suction roller and on both sides, flanking a stabilizer (5) over the suction roller.
