[origin: EP1595832A1] The feed system for letter wrappers has a suction roller (5) which removes wrappers from a stack (2) and accelerates them for transfer to a processing station. Alternatively it can receive cut sections from a cutter unit (3) which are transferred to it by a suction belt. Independent claims are included for: (A) letter wrapping machines fitted with the system; and (B) a method for transferring letter wrappers using the system.
