The aid has a housing (I), and a display device (A) that is formed as an electrophoretic display on the housing, where the display is flexible and thin. The display device is laid on the housing with a coating technology. The display is utilized to indicate charge status information of a battery of the aid. The display requires power only for the modification of the indicated information.

Die Anzeige von Zustandsinformationen auf einem Hörgerät soll verbessert werden. Hierzu ist vorgesehen, dass die Anzeigeeinrichtung (A) auf dem Gehäuse eines Hörgeräts (I) als elektrophoretische Anzeige ausgestaltet ist. Diese ist sehr flexibel und dünn und kann daher in beliebiger Form an nahezu beliebigen Stellen des Hörgeräts aufgebracht werden. Darüber hinaus benötigt die elektrophoretische Anzeige (A) nur zur Änderung der dargestellten Information Energie. Somit lässt sich der Energieverbrauch für eine Hörgeräteanzeige deutlich reduzieren.
