[origin: WO2004075934A1] The invention relates to a device (10) for delivering a substance, more particularly, an aromatic substance. Said device comprises a tank (12) that is filled with the substance and delivery device (14) associated with the tank (12), which has means for conveying the substance in an ambient medium. The tank (12) and its delivery device (14) are configured as a closed unit relative to the ambient medium after each delivery, whereby contact between the ambient medium and the substance contained in the tank is substantially prevented.
