[origin: WO2004071772A1] The invention relates to a roller mandrel (2) of an ink transfer roller in a rotary press machine, provided with a distribution system (7, 14, 14', 15, 15') for a print medium enabling at least areas of the peripheral surface of the roller mandrel (2) to be impinged upon with print via print mediating points (15,15'). The inventive roller mandrel (2) is different from known roller mandrels by virtue of a print distribution medium (8,16) enabling the print mediating points (15,15') to be selectively impinged upon with print.
