[origin: WO2005026000A1] A folding bag (10) having side walls (12, 14, 16) and a base unit (60) and/or a cover unit (70), wherein at least one side wall (12,14, 16) has a convex curvature when the folding bag (10) is folded up, characterized in that the convexly curved side wall (12,14,16) is connected to at least one support unit (20;50) consisting of a first adhesive tab (22) and a second adhesive tab (24) which are joined to the inner wall and which are distanced (A1,12) from each other in the direction of curvature; and a support tab (30;56) is provided between the first and second adhesive tab (22,24), said support tab being joined to the first or second adhesive tab (22,24) by a first or second support tab fold line (32,34). The length of the support tab (30; 56) corresponds to the distance (A1; A2) between the first and second adhesive support tab (22, 24) and the support tab (30; 56) can be folded inside the folding bag (10) when the folding bag (10) is folded up or is automatically folded up inside the folding bag (10) when the folding bag is folded up.
