[origin: DE10307128B3] The piston pump has a drive unit for rotation of pump piston (6) via an eccentric (1), with a roller bearing (2) provided between the eccentric and the pump piston. The eccentric has an elliptical shape with the length of the larger ellipse axis (A-B) being greater than the inner diameter (Di) of the roller bearing, which is elastically deformable for fitting around the eccentric without play.
