Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1598301A1] The shaft frame has a buffer (4) and buffer support (3) with a connection (5) between the buffer support and guide rail (2) for the lift cabin to provide a rigid unit to divert the impact forces into the pit (1). The connection can be a plate with support part and rail part. The rail part can be bent down slightly from the support part so that any lubricating oil from the guide rail drains off.
