[origin: EP1598489A1] An automotive fixture (3) is inserted in an aperture within a base plate and rests on the surrounding base plate surface. The fixture consists essentially of a first flange linked at right angles to a second flange by a bolt. The fixture (3) has a root flange (9) attached to the component (2) and a further U-shaped flange (12) with a cross-piece (14). The cross piece (14) has a tip (37) directed towards the flange (12) rocking point.
