Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1599070A2] The hearing aid has a storage facility (S), into which data are selectably stored. The stored data is for frequency response data over an individually measured frequency response of available hearing. The frequency response is measured according to International Telecommunication Union, so that the frequency response data contains indirect information about the hearing of the hearing aid carrier. The frequency response is stored within the range of 100 Hz to 10 kHz. The frequency response is stored with 10 to 200 scanning values. The frequency response data are stored in a standardized format. An independent claim is included for a method for the adaptation of a hearing aid.
