[origin: WO2004079127A1] The invention relates to a device for fixing panels (6) to the external walls (10) of buildings (1), using a support construction that is fixed to the building (1). Said construction comprises approximately vertical first mounting rails (3), approximately horizontal second mounting rails (4), the mounting rails (3, 4) of both groups being interconnected, and mounting brackets (5) that are located on the second mounting rails (4) and can be displaced along said rails, for fixing the panels (6). According to the invention, the second mounting rails (4) have a triangular cross-section and lie against the first mounting rails (3) with one of their lateral faces (41).
