[origin: DE10309594A1] The door latch (5) is connected to the door handle (4) in a non- rotary manner. The latch surface has a pitch with maximum and minimum values and by turning the handle this surface can be moved into a handle end position (E) relative to a counter-surface on a lock part (7) on the appliance (G) in order for the door (2) to be moved into the closed position (S). The lock part (7) is rotatably mounted and elastically resilient in a direction perpendicular to the closure direction of the door.
