The wheelchair has a maneuvering assembly (40) with a lever (41) articulated on a rear part of a chassis (2) and to an end of a lever (43) whose another end is articulated on a deformable quadrilateral. The assembly has a push handle (49) articulated on the levers and on the quadrilateral through an articulated rod (55) whose two ends are connected to the quadrilateral and to the handle by respective pivots.

L'invention concerne un fauteuil verticalisateur pour handicapés et invalides, comprenant un châssis (2) supportant une structure articulée (12) qui comprend, une assise un repose-pied, un dossier, ainsi que deux systèmes articulés symétriques latéraux comprenant chacun : un premier polygone déformable contribuant au support de l'assise, un second polygone déformable, contribuant au support du repose-pied, une armature de dossier (35) articulée sur le premier quadrilatère, et un ensemble de manoeuvre (40), qui comprend un premier levier (41), un second levier (43), ainsi qu'une poignée de manoeuvre (49). Selon l'invention, pour chaque ensemble de manoeuvre, la poignée de manoeuvre (49), est articulée, d'une part, sur le second levier (43) et/ou le premier levier (41) et d'autre part, sur le premier quadrilatère par l'intermédiaire d'une biellette (55) dont une première extrémité est liée par un pivot au premier quadrilatère et la seconde extrémité est liée par un pivot (58) à la poignée de manoeuvre (49). <IMAGE>
